FPS:File Protection Software is a first person shooter in which the player takes the role of an antivirus software fighting an infected computer. This game was completely built in C++ from scratch using minimal libraries for window management and math by a team of eight programmer and no artists. In this project I was in charge of overseeing the technical aspects of the game, managing the tasks my teammates had to do and taking decisions on how the engine was made. Furthermore I developed the graphics and asset pipeline, the editor of the game, the internal file format for the levels, the grappling hook physics, the UI system (text and display) and optimization. Some highlights of this project are a multithreaded asset loading pipeline and implementing bloom by downscalling the image in the GPU rather than using a Gaussian filter. Games Gallery Link
